To the MyPnL Team,

To the MyPnL.it Team,

I'm writing as a paying customer to share serious concerns about the direction the platform has taken, and to urge you to refocus on what made it worth subscribing to in the first place.

I purchased MyPnL.it specifically because it was a clean, focused trading journal. That was the product. The ability to log trades accurately, review performance, and learn from the data — that's what I paid for and that's what I needed.

Over time, you've added a trade diary, playbooks, a watchlist, and backtesting tools. I understand the instinct to grow the product, but the consequence is that the core journalling functionality — the reason I and presumably many others signed up — no longer works as it should. The foundation has been neglected in favour of features that weren't asked for.

I have a current and concrete example of this. I logged the following trades:

  • 12th: $50.94

  • 13th: $17.98

  • 14th: $7.71

  • 15th: $65.12

That totals $141.75. MyPnL is showing $155.18 — a discrepancy of $13.43 with no explanation. Both the account summary and the account transaction summary are displaying incorrect figures. This is not a minor rounding issue; it is a calculation error in the platform's most fundamental function.

I want to be clear: this is not the first time I have raised this. I have complained about calculation accuracy before and the issue has not been resolved. That is not acceptable for a product whose entire purpose is accurate financial record-keeping.

This is a common and frustrating pattern in software: a product that does one thing well gets pulled in multiple directions until it does several things poorly. MyPnL.it is heading down that path.

My ask is straightforward: fix the journal. Specifically, the account summary and transaction summary calculations must be accurate and reliable. Trade logging, import reliability, and performance reporting need to work correctly before any further features are added. The additional tools you've built are only valuable if the foundation holding them together is solid — right now it isn't.

I'm raising this because I want the product to succeed and I'd rather see it course-correct than move elsewhere. But if the core journal doesn't improve, that's exactly what I'll do.

Regards, Gav
