The current display shows the Net Running P&L based on price, which represents the open (unrealized) P&L. This only becomes realized once positions are closed. While this is useful, an even more critical metric for traders is understanding the open risk—the potential loss if all stop-loss levels are triggered. This is essential for determining whether to increase or reduce exposure.
Calculating this requires only three data points:
Purchase price
Number of shares
Stop-loss price
Incorporating this feature will give traders a clear view of their risk profile and improve decision-making.

Apologies if I misused the terms open P&L and Open Risk….If you could add the open Risk to the same page and section, I think you would have something pretty good.

You can now view your open positions PnL to better understand your current risk profile, without needing to maintain a separate Excel sheet.

This is very helpful, thanks for the ongoing work to improve the site. Where am I able to access / view this? Are my existing open trades included in this or do I need to reenter these trades?

You can access this feature directly in the Trade Journal → Open Positions section. Your existing open trades will be shown as long as the symbol is a valid, supported symbol (not a custom one).
If Live PnL is not displaying for any trade, you’ll need to re-enter that trade. Please make sure to select the symbol from the autosuggestion list while entering the trade, as Live PnL works only for symbols chosen via autosuggestion.

This (auto PnL) is available in the manual trade when inputting the full open and closing of the trade however it is not available when you close the trade straight from the trade jouranl

Please implement this, it should be pretty easy to have open PnL as well the PnL that is automatically calculated when closing the trade
